THE DRESDEN FILES was highly recommended to me, but I balked. Then, I saw the show and thought the books had to be better -- and they were -- but it was my own idea to read them.<br /><br />My urban fantasies set in New Orleans have a few devoted fans that were first drawn to a fantasy set in their old home town.
